The house was built in 1970 and seriously needed updating, also there were more windows needed on the front and wall. New foam insulation was added on the outside along with new stucco.
We hired a massive jackhammer to completely demo the front. They also cut out the concrete walls to add two windows to the front, and cut out a huge opening on the south side to add a door.
New entrance, walls, windows stucco, roof and gates, along with two front gardens, one for seating, irrigation system, outdoor lighting and landscaping transformation complete.
The compete garden area was demoed and all concrete walks and porch removed along with egg shaped entrance
The front door gate has a cow skull, (in lower left hand corner, cactus, and hummingbird custom built by a local artist. Gary Odenkirk
New walls with capstones, irrigation and landscaping were added to allow outdoor seating.
This was the formal living room. Raised the concrete floor to match the rest of house, changed it to dining room, removed posts and opened up wall into Fireplace Room.
Opened up entrance to Fireplace Room, removed posts and beams from ceiling. removed all sheet rock, installed all new insulation, fire resistant sheet rock, electrical, and HVAC.
That huge glass chandelier weighs over 70 lbs. thus required special framing and bracing for safety. All new lighting was added.
Before any reconstruction could take place ALL drain lines throughout the house needed replacing, thus meant sawing and jackhammering concrete
All sheetrock, insulation, electrical and HVAC was replaced after the walls were moved, or removed, hot water tank relocated, beam erected, new doors and windows installed.
That glu-lam Beam is over 25' long and weighs 560 lbs. Required a special Beam Lift to set in place, and has new footings under it that are 24" deep concrete.
Original kitchen had not been updated since construction in 1970. There was a drain line running through the wall of the kitchen sink to the back of the property...
All new water lines were installed along with everything else.
The East wall on the left was moved back, the refrigerator is now there, and a beam was installed over the top of current stove and counter to open up into fireplace rm
This was the wall separating the Fireplace Room and kitchen. The wall had paneling on it, and a new beam was mounted over what is now the bar sitting area.

The Fireplace Room was originally a two car garage the owner converted into a pool table room. The lady of the home had 10 cats she kept on the fenced in front porch, thus the cat door you see here...

Check out that colorful carpet! This wall storage area separated what is now the fireplace room and dining room. The hot water tank was in the closet on the left which is where fridge is today.

Original Fireplace, the wood mantel came from a lumber mill in New Hampshire, the fireplace was closed off and electric insert installed.

The Cabinets on the left were removed and this wall was opened up. There was a second closet in the master bath that was behind this wall.
We closed up the door into the master bath and created a small private space that doubles as sleeping area for toddlers. We provide a Pak N Play in Twin Closet
The Leather mat is actually patches from the belt loop on the back of jeans...found at the annual Chicken Ranch sale in Luther, OK
The Pool had been filled in 20 years ago when the current homeowner tired of maintaining it.
The lot was overgrown so decision made to build a pool within the pool

The house sits on 1 acre thus lots of room for fun!
Pickleball & Basketball Court added in summer of 2024. The goal will lower to 6' for the up and coming NBA players
